De Souza Interiors is committed to providing a safe working environment for all
personnel present at our workplaces. Through systematic management of
OHS risk, and sustained organisational commitment to OHS, we will make
our best endeavours to eliminate workplace injuries and illnesses.
De Souza Interiors recognizes that the responsibility for health and safety lies
with every manager, employee and contractor and forms an integral part
of our leadership and management functions at all levels of the
organisation.
We will work together to develop a workplace culture which proactively
manages occupational health and safety issues.
We are committed to:
1. Comply fully with all applicable safety and health laws and
regulations.
2. Provide the training, equipment and support necessary for safe,
healthy and productive work.
3. Through workplace consultation and engagement continuously
improving our work practices towards the goal of elimination of
work related injury and illness.
4. Establishing measurable objectives and targets, monitoring and
reporting on our safety and health performance.
5. Promote and support health initiatives at all De Souza Interiors work sites.
6. Share our knowledge of occupational heath and safety among our
worksites and with others in our industry.
7. Recognise the hazards that exist in the construction industry and
take every practicable step to manage and mitigate the risk.
